What you'll be doingThe CSR Manager - Wollongong is responsible and accountable for the day-to-day technical, administrative and customer related aspects of a busy and complex Central Specimen Reception (CSR) department that services coordination of testing within multiple disciplines and departments, whilst ensuring that the service is run efficiently, cost effectivlely and meets laboratory best practice in ensuring optimum turn-around-times for pathology results.

Apply now by addressing the following questions:Relevant qualifications in BusinessHuman ResourceScienceLogisticsInformation Management andor demonstrated extensive work experience and capability in managing specimen workflow processes in a laboratory.Demonstrated experience in process improvement for workflows or logistics for complex services with the ability to problem solve and initiate systematic investigations across departments with a solution focus for streamlining and simplification of systems in collaboration with multiple stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to make sound judgements and experience in critically analysing problems, developing effective solutions and resolving conflicting priorities in a health or corporate context.Proven high level of organisational skills in a high volume work environment including the ability to effectively problem solve, prioritise workload, negotiate external accountabilities and meet deadlines.Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service with a high level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders and interact professionally with a diverse range of people at all levels.Advanced level of proficiency in using PC based software including Laboratory Information Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite with the ability to troubleshoot and understand software capabilities and limitations in specimen managementDemonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSWHP RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence.
