What You'll Be Doing As the Director of Pharmacy, you will:
Lead and Develop Services: Provide leadership and development of clinical and organisational pharmacy services.Ensure Best Practice: Deliver services that meet professional standards and budget guidelines, ensuring safe and efficient use of medicines.Supervise and Support: Manage pharmacy staff to optimise performance and achieve excellence.Achieve Goals: Meet performance targets and foster positive relationships with staff and stakeholders.Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and professional standards.Support Development: Participate in professional development, including education programs and research.Lead Pharmacy Services: Support the Pharmacy Leadership team in planning and evolving services.Role Model Excellence: Demonstrate commitment to CCLHD's vision and NSW Health 'CORE' values.Uphold Ethics: Ensure compliance with ethical standards, privacy, and confidentiality policies.Flexible Work: Be prepared to rotate across CCLHD sites and participate in on-call and after-hours work if required.Where You'll Be Working CCLHD is the largest healthcare provider on the Central Coast, offering:

Post-registration clinical or management/leadership qualifications or equivalent skills/experience are required.
Flexibility to rotate across CCLHD sites and work on-call, weekends, after hours, and public holidays is essential.Leadership Experience: Significant leadership experience in hospital pharmacy practice, preferably in a large teaching hospital.
Ability to align Pharmacy services with National Safety and Quality Health Standards.Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to develop high-quality guidelines, procedures, educational, research, or business materials with limited guidance, and navigate organisational requirements effectively.Interpersonal Skills: Highly effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to create opportunities, adapt communication styles, and translate complex information to achieve departmental and organisational goals.
Foster a positive workplace culture.Teamwork and Development: Proven ability to role model, champion, and promote teamwork.
Manage and develop staff, recognise and nurture talent, and build cooperation to overcome barriers to teamwork and communication.Service Planning: Demonstrated skills in service planning, including identifying, implementing, and evaluating initiatives to ensure continual quality enhancement.
