They are looking for a seasoned category/contracts professional to join their growing team amidst an exciting time of change and transformation within the larger business.Your new roleReporting to the Head of Strategic procurement, you will partner with other stakeholders within the business to manage and develop optimisation initiatives within a spend portfolio allocated to you.Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:Leading and developing category plans to maximise financial outcomes within a desired budget.Applying a strong understanding of business activities within the organisation to capitalise on emerging trends and market shifts.Leading strategic sourcing initiatives.Overseeing end to end contract management across the spend portfolio of your assigned category.Building strong relationships with key stakeholders within your space.Developing policies and tools to maximise delivery while ensuring compliance.What you'll need to succeedThe successful candidate will ideally come with:Relevant qualifications within the procurement and supply chain space.Extensive experience managing portfolios of high risk spend on both goods and services.Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.Excellent organisational skills with the proven ability to manage competing priorities.The ability to build relationships and work with various stakeholders at different levels.What you'll get in returnIn return, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a base salary of 115k-129k + super, salary packaging options and flexible work arrangements.What you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
