What you'll doYou will lead the Dorset Catchment Partnership and work with a wide range of stakeholders including local councils, regulators, charities and local groups. Together, you will deliver long-term benefits for people and nature across the Poole Harbour and Dorset Stour catchments.
Within the role, you will implement and update the partnership's strategy and action plan, working with partners to identify, develop and deliver projects which address the challenges Dorset's rivers and wider catchments face.
You will have a key role in unlocking funding and other resources for delivery. You will also develop a communications strategy which celebrates our successes and inspires others to get involved.
You will line manage the Catchment Partnership Officer and mentor the Catchment Partnerships Apprentice, leading a team which provides a range of expertise to external partners and colleagues.
With several large projects in delivery and development, this is an exciting time for you to join the DCP team, to work with our partners to achieve positive change in our river catchments.
