We are currently seeking 4 x Casual Security Officers to join the operations team.
As the RNA is an events-based business, the successful candidate must possess a wide-range of availability and show a willingness to adapt.
The primary role of the Security Officer is to support the Precinct Protection & Logistics Manager and Security supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the security department and all assigned duties.
This role is a casual position and hours available depending on the availability and suitability of the successful candidate.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintaining the safety and security of staff, customers, visitors, stakeholders, the public and RNA assets in line with RNA's Policies & Procedures.
Promote and support OHS, Fire Safety, Security Awareness and Crime Prevention strategies within the Workplace, Administer First Aid (where required) and be part of the RNA's Emergency/Crisis Response Team.
Undertake RSA and Crowd Control duties ensuring that all QLD Liquor Laws are adhered to for all RNA events.
Maintain recording and reporting systems for the purpose of investigations, hazard and risk assessments, daily security logs.
Complete monthly reports for management and use of other RNA database systems.
Enforcement of site workforce controls, liaise with Police, Fire and Ambulance Services and perimeter communities and the public.
Facilitate general Security requirements of the RICC and Brisbane Showground and all events associated with the business.
Operate the Security Control Room and BMS, 2-Way Radio Communications and other equipment and conduct various administrative tasks.
Manage contractor and visitor access requirements, control various key systems, security access control, alarm systems, along with the automated car park systems in and around the property.
To be successful you will require:
Security License (Class 1) with Crowd Control RSA Certificate Current QLD Driver's License Forklift License (desirable, not requirement) CPR & First Aid certified About Us:
