We are looking for a Sales Assistant to work on a casual basis in our Bald Hills store. The ideal candidate should be a true casual with complete availability to work hours across the entire week.
The successful candidate will have:
at least 2 years experience working with a high volume, disciplined retailerstrong merchandising skillshighly motivated and proactivereal customer service focus with an ability to make the salehigh integritythe ability to communicate to all levels with easecomposure under stress and pressurea determination to succeeda hands-on approachcommitment to the care of petsYou must be reliable, determined to meet high standards, willing to be flexible regarding working days and hours, and able to work unsupervised. You must be able to work on weekends.
As part of your responsibilities, you may be required to lift heavy items (e.g., bags of dog food).
