Offering easy access to a diverse range of services, the Hub aids clients directly and through referrals to other services. With a specific focus on supporting individuals facing difficulties in accessing homelessness services, including those who may be sleeping rough and those with complex needs, the Hub ensures improved access to housing and support services in Cairns. As a result, people experiencing homelessness benefit from coordinated service delivery which provides easy access to information, referral, and advocacy to meet their needs, as well as assistance with referral to housing and accommodation options and assistance with crisis resolution. The Hub provides an accessible entry point to the broader service system, for people who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless and achieves this through case management, administering brokerage funds, and fostering collaborative service delivery and partnerships with a range of housing and support providers.To Be Successful You Will NeedProven case management experience using a holistic and client-centered approach to managing your case load.Extensive experience working in government funded programs with strict budgetary and contractual requirements of service.Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government bodies, community organisations, and other service providers to provide efficient and effective services to clients.Knowledge of organisational programs, policies and operations.Industry relevant qualifications or relevant industry experience.Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, families and communities will be highly regarded.Experience working with people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds will be highly regarded.ComplianceA current QLD Drivers Licence 'Class C' or interstate equivalent.Blue Card (Working with children card).A current national police check (within the last 3 months).Current First Aid & CPR certificate.What We Can Offer YouCompetitive hourly rate.Salary packaging available.Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Access to a large variety of discounts through our HRIS benefits.Diversity and inclusivity are important to Anglicare NQ and we are committed to ensuring our workplace and services reflect this.
