CCS provides management of offenders on court orders, serious sex offenders on post sentence supervision and prisoners on parole.
About the role Based in Geelong, the Case Officer will manage low risk offenders on court orders, through directing and monitoring compliance with court order obligations.Additionally, you will apply order administration activities to offenders on reparation orders and, where required, offenders at a low risk of reoffending. This includes:
Referring offenders to relevant servicesMonitor compliance against order requirementsImplement appropriate responses to non-complianceEscalate matters as required to senior staff in a timely mannerTo be successful in this role you will have: A passion for service excellence with a focus on achieving service targets whilst maintaining service qualityExcellent verbal and written communication skills with assertiveness and confidence in dealing with individuals exhibiting challenging behavioursStrong time-management and organisational skillsWell-developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.Demonstrated experience or an awareness of key case management components: assessment, planning, service coordination and brokerage and interventions would be highly regarded.
