About The Role: We are looking for a Carpentry Supervisor to mentor and guide our diverse team of qualified Carpenters. You will be responsible for the leadership of our timber ramp installation projects, coordinating on-site activities and ensuring all projects meet the required specifications and timelines within budget. You must be trade qualified and have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the installations industry. As a great communicator, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work with various stakeholders. This role will involve a high level of planning and resource allocation, so you must be able to work in a high pressure fast-paced environment and be highly organised.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, train and provide daily support to the carpentry team. Coordinate on-site timber ramp installation work. Oversee projects from the initial cut list to completion. Coordinate with the Scheduling team to manage workload. Organise and undertake regular Toolbox meetings with the team. Manage complaints and compliments to improve service quality. Maintain and update spreadsheets and databases to ensure currency. Liaise with the Workshop Supervisor to ensure materials are prepared and ready. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to manage workload and resolve issues as required. About You: Hold a Trade qualification in Carpentry or a related field. A minimum of 3 years' experience working within installations. Experience leading and training a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly organised, with strong planning skills. Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Basic computer skills, with experience in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to learn new processes and programs. Have or willing to obtain a National Police Check, NDIS Worker Check, Aged Care Clearance, and Working with Children Check.
