The Food & Beverage Instructor is responsible for conducting practical training and supervision and providing feedback on student's progress and assessments within the live food & beverage environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent Demonstrated high level supervisory skills within the hospitality industry Strong communication skills and the ability to readily build relationships Fluent in English (verbal and written) Full working rights in Australia Working with Children Check Food and Beverage Attendant (Casual)
The Food and Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivery of Food & Beverage services to both guests and students as well as participating in day-to-day operations of all Food & Beverage front of house areas.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate Experience in Restaurant and Banquet service Fluent in English (verbal and written) Working with Children Check Full working rights in Australia Chef Instructor (Full time and Casual opportunities)
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will join a team of passionate staff.
You can continue doing what you love whilst getting work-life-balance: with standard working days Monday – Friday (shifts between 6am and 8pm) and with limited evenings, weekend shifts or overtime required.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Previous industry experience and currency in a commercial kitchen.
Previous experience working in hotels and banquets would be an advantage.
Certificate III Commercial Cookery Trade is advantageous Certificate IV Training and assessment is advantageous Fluent in English (verbal and written) Working with Children Check Full working rights in Australia Gardeners (full time)
This position is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the grounds (hard surfaces), facilities and rubbish management of the Leura Campus.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Experience working in a minimum garden, grounds position or a similar role.
Attention to detail and quality A driver's license (essential due to the nature of the work - as you will have to drive campus vehicles and a golf buggy) Fluent in English (verbal and written) Working with Children Check Full working rights in Australia Rooms Division Instructor (Full time and Casual opportunities)
The Rooms Division Instructor is responsible for the ongoing development and training of the Post Graduate Blue Mountains International Hotel Management School Rooms Division students.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
Demonstrated experience as manager or supervisor within Front Office in a 4-5-star hotel/resort environment.
Completion of a Certificate IV Hospitality or equivalent, and Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE40110) desirable – but not essential Fluent in English (verbal and written) Working with Children Check Full working rights in Australia What should I bring that day?
