The role:You will be required to assist individuals living in residential care homes to live a good life characterised by optimum independence and decision-making about their care needs.
What you'll do:
Support the older person to maintain and/or improve physical, cognitive, emotional and social health and enhance their wellbeingFollow and contribute to the resident's care planAssist the residents of each care home to live a good lifeWork with a multi-disciplinary team to support the wellbeing of residentsUndertake activities of daily living, domestic tasks and activity supportMaintain accurate documentation
Shifts are between:
Monday - Sunday
0700 - 15000700 - 13301500 - 23001500 - 21001700 – 20002300 - 0700
About You!
You are a talented and passionate Care Worker. You want to make the most of your expertise, do what you do best and thrive on the challenge of providing our customers with quality care. Ideally you will have experience within the Health Care Sector.
Experienced candidates are highly desiredExcellent written & verbal communication skillsA passion for supporting choice and independenceHigh level customer service experienceShare the ACH Group culture and values
You will need:
To care about supporting older people to live a Good Life.Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or a nursing student that has undertaken a year of their course including their placementAsatisfactory Police Check for working with vulnerable groups less than 12 months at commencement
