Application Requirements The work of the Canteen Supervisor is essential to the operation of the College.
The appointee will work closely with the Canteen Assistants to provide a vegetarian, healthy, and high-quality food offering that is prepared and cooked fresh for staff, students, and visitors.
Compliance with relevant WH&S and other applicable regulations and standards is assumed.
Day-to-day tasks will include but are not limited to: Preparing & cooking food items for sale Developing and reviewing the menu Management of the online menu and ordering system Managing stock and ordering supplies to maintain proper stock levels Managing cleaning responsibilities Managing catering requirements as needed Providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and the school community The successful applicant must be a baptised and practising member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church or a practising Christian sympathetic to the unique Seventh-day Adventist identity of the school.

Support and uphold the values of a Christian organisation Ideally have previous experience in a similar role Have a passion for preparing and cooking high-quality food Be enthusiastic about your work Have high standards of work Be punctual and reliable Be able to work unsupervised, use your initiative, and be proactive Challenge the status quo Have knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation Ideally be a qualified chef – Certificate III in Commercial Cookery Must have or be willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC) valid for employment Hold a current Driver's Licence and have your own car Be eligible to work unrestricted in Australia Expressions of Interest Applications can be emailed to Arlyn Manalac, Business Manager, Mountain View Adventist College – .
