We are looking for someone who wants to grow with us and is self-motivated and an enthusiastic 'go-getter'.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement operational plans that cover general management of campus facilities, finance and people across the core functions of education, research and business development.Assist in development and delivery of business development strategies that increase income for the campus, including through the establishment and fostering of strong relationships between the campus, other UTAS and ECA portfolios and relevant external partners, including industry, government and investors.Manage UTAS Melbourne & Sydney professional staff to deliver against agreed service outcomes.Manage all campus facility, WHS-related activities; and critical incident/ emergency processes and reporting.Under the broad direction of the ECA COO and in consultation with the UTAS Melbourne & Sydney Academic Directors, monitor the campus budget, cash flow forecasting and cost control processes in order to meet annual and project-specific budgets.Ensure non-academic services supporting the delivery of UTAS courses at the Melbourne & Sydney campuses are offered in compliance with external regulatory requirements and standards - particularly those prescribed by the ESOS Act, the National Code and TEQSA threshold standards.Manage compliance with relevant UTAS and ECA policies across a range of activities and processes relating to enrolments, tuition fee payments, student services and compliance, student progress, professional placements (e.g. for Early Childhood Education students); graduations, examinations, student appeals and grievances; including record-keeping for internal and external audits/ reviews.Manage continuous improvement plan arising from external audits of student and compliance services/ operations at UTAS Melbourne & Sydney.As the successful candidate you will ideally have:A tertiary education qualification (preferably at postgraduate degree level)Extensive experience in managing diverse operations, preferably within the higher education and international education sectors.Knowledge of the governance, operation and regulation of higher education providers.High-level strategic planning capability with demonstrated ability to operationalise strategy through communication, teamwork, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.Ability to work with students and staff from varied cultural backgrounds.Experience with third-party course delivery through managed campus partnerships between a university and private sector education provider (desirable).In return we will offer you:A collaborative and supportive team environmentAn energetic culture that inspires and supports excellence in our employeesContinuous support in your professional developmentEmployee benefits package with a diverse range of offerings, from discounts at gyms and specialty retail stores to a comprehensive employee assistance program.
