About the Role  The Sunnyfield Café at Allambie Heights is a vibrant and inclusive space that provides an opportunity for people with disability to build their skills and capacity to make a difference.
Our café provides employment opportunities for people with disability to deliver exceptional food, coffee, and catering services from our café operations.
We are hiring for an experienced Café Assistant to join our team, working Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm.
About You??  We are seeking a passionate, energetic and experienced Barista for our vibrant and inclusive onsite café in Allambie Heights.
In this role, you will create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our staff and clients whilst effectively assisting the operations of the café.
You will assist with training of supported clients within the café environment to teach them new skills.
This is a unique role, an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities by providing them with meaningful employment opportunities.
You will demonstrate:  A passion for people and coffee!
Demonstrated barista skills, along with food preparation experience.
Passion to support people with an intellectual and/or physical disability in a working environment.
Excellent customer service, time management and organisational skills.
Knowledge of food handling and hygiene principles.
