This organisation offers a unique blend of vocational education and training (TAFE) alongside higher education degrees.About The RoleThe Business Analyst serves to understand, analyse and work to continually improve business processes and practices in relation to the operations within a particular department of the organisation.
You will work closely with subject-matter experts, business units, stakeholders, and vendors in the elicitation of business requirements.
This position is expected to leverage experience and best practice methodologies to validate business processes and systems to address operational and technical risk and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.Duties And ResponsibilitiesDescribe, document, and improve critical cross-functional process flows to enable the consistent application of the department's systems-related processes across the organisation.Design training materials to support the use of "BAU System and Application" and deliver this training to relevant staff.Coordinate user acceptance testing of solutions and proactively participate in functionality testing during software upgrades.Apply business process re-engineering techniques and methods in analysing process flow.Evaluate the quality of project outputs against agreed end user acceptance criteria.Selection CriteriaA degree with subsequent relevant experience in student administration and/or business processes of other large administrative information systems in a highly regulated industry/ complex organisation.Demonstrated project management skills and commitment to continuous improvement of processes and personal drive and self-motivation.Demonstrated knowledge of business process improvement methodologies and the ability to apply them across teams.Experience in leading lean (or similar) business process improvement projects or programs of work.Verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex processes or regulations, to provide clear information to customers and to communicate effectively with staff.Mandatory Compliance RequirementInterested applicants must agree to provide valid police check clearance.Applicants should have or be willing to secure a Working with Children Clearance.Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.If you are interested to apply or if you would like to discuss further about this role and access the full job description, please do not hesitate to contact Sajana via or NoteCandidates residing interstate will not be offered relocation support upon selection for the role.#J-18808-Ljbffr
