The Company
Our large NSW State Government client provides comprehensive legal service to NSW Health and provides oversight and advice on regulation and compliance of pharmaceutical, private health and assisted reproduction technology matters.
The Role
They are currently seeking a Business Support Officer to join their growing team in St Leonards with some flexibility to work a few days per week remotely from home.
This is an estimated 3 month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Centre for Alcohol and Other Drugs Unit, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of administrative, business, program and secretariat support to assist in achieving organisational objectives.
Responsibilities Deliver high level, professional customer service
Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
Complete diary and travel management
Schedule and coordinate meetings
Coordinate meeting room equipment, catering and overall presentation
Deliver secretariat support for Reference Group
Manage multiple inboxes, triaging emails, generating correspondence
Gather and collate information to support decision making outcomes
Provide a wide range of program and event logistics support
Undertake financial administration activities including processing invoices, purchase orders and receipting
Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements
About You Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS office suite
Superior organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task competing deadlines/timeframes
High attention to detail
Solid conflict resolution and problem solving skills
Requirements Demonstrated Business, Administration, Program, Project or Secretariat experience
Health or Public Sector experience advantageous
Previous experience within a complex/sensitive environment
Willingness to complete a National Police Check
Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
