We are seeking a motivated, experienced Business Support Officer to join the Information and Technology Partners team within the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO).

The role will involve providing general administrative and human resource management support to all of the 400 staff including its Executive Leadership team.
Key Duties:Provide business support for finance management activities across the ITP team, including payments of invoices and record keeping.Provide operational human resource administrative support across the ITP team, including areas such as recruitment, advertising of positions, panel assistance, onboarding and separation.Provide events support including booking travel, accommodation and room hire, and logistics such as rostering and on the ground support during the event, including the set up and pack down, ordering of catering and any adhoc assistance required.Provide administrative support to the ITP team including preparation of briefing materials, agendas, papers, presentation distribution and follow up of action items, and minute taking when required.Maintain records (assets register, collateral record, licence renewals); undertake data entry to maintain contact/subscription databases, and other administrative data entries.Maintain effective project support practices including planning of multiple tasks and prioritising workloads to meet timeframes.Undertake research to inform best practice tools and systems for communication and engagement.Maintain knowledge, technical proficiency and skills appropriate to the role including compliance with appropriate legislation, policies, procedures and protocols to provide business process advice to business unit staff.Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders.Key Selection Criteria:Proven experience in administrative support.Background in HR processes, ideally within a government setting.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and tracking.Experience with Queensland Shared Services (QSS) and Aurion systems is a plus.Familiarity with Queensland Government HR policies and recruitment directives (or ability to learn quickly).#J-18808-Ljbffr
