We are shaking things up and transforming how we operate, how we raise funds and how we deliver the greatest impact for sick and injured children and young people across Queensland. If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, then we want to meet you! The role The Business Manager will work alongside the Chief Operations Officer to coordinate and streamline strategic activity, and operating plans across the organisation, identifying opportunities for efficiency, collaboration and leverage. The Business Manager will report into the COO and provide high-level planning support the Executive Leadership Teams and broader organisation.This role has the flexibility to be between 0.8 FTE or full-time and is based at our corporate offices in South Brisbane. Who are you?An organiser who is passionate about the detail and delivery of quality work. A warm, welcoming and genuine person who is passionate about making a difference in the NFP sector A proven track record of strategic thinking and ethical, values-based decision-makingExceptional interpersonal skills; ability to interface with all levels and positions Key criteriaTo be successful in this role, you will possess the following: Tertiary qualification in role related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education.Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar roleExtensive diary management experience at C-Suite levelDemonstrated track record in developing, managing and evolving business systems and processes to maximise operational efficiency Experience supporting the company secretary functionDemonstrated ability to support a culture of quality improvement and innovationExperience with project management methodologies and frameworksAbility to translate and communicate strategic and performance goals into business and performance frameworks, plans and measurable outcomesDemonstrated success in business planning and execution in a fundraising and marketing environmentWhat is our difference? When you join the team, you're not just doing another 'job'.
