About the Role: This role is responsible for the continued revenue, gross margin and customer growth across specified channels with the majority of the company's core product and service offerings to our customers/members. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new profitable business, achievement of the annual sales and margin budget, building major customer relationships, expanding the customer/membership and actively contributing to the successful development of the specified sectors for the business. The position plays a key role in the future growth of the organisation Key Responsibilities: Accountability for key sales metrics within specified channels.Establish & maintain effective internal and external stakeholder relationships.Accountable for the achievement of annual sales budgets, KPI's and achieving financial targets (revenue, gross margin,) for a channel or channels under your responsibility.Responsible for setting sales targets, plans and budgets at a state level for the channel or channels under your responsibility.Provide a structured Report on the status of all business opportunities. Skills & Experience: A critical thinker with an aptitude to continually learn new skills.A grounded, practical and engaging sales professional who does what they say.A natural negotiator with advanced emotional intelligence in engagement of customers, managing conflict and building trusted reputations.Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently and to use initiative and problem solving skills to organise and prioritise workloads.Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
