This business unit is responsible for facilitating and managing essential infrastructure, maintenance, and capital works projects that underpin the University's operations and growth.A key responsibility of this portfolio is the delivery of the University's Campus Development Plan, which is critical to ensuring the campus evolves in line with strategic priorities, supports innovation, and meets the needs of students, staff, and the broader community. By managing complex projects and maintaining high standards across all facilities, the Campus Development team helps create an environment that fosters learning, research, and community engagement.As a central enabler of the University's operations, this portfolio ensures that every project and initiative aligns with sustainability principles, modern design standards, and long-term planning objectives.The RoleThis role leads and manages business and administrative services to support capital works and maintenance projects across the university. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining project management frameworks, overseeing contract administration, financial reporting, and implementing efficient business systems to ensure project success.The position focuses on process improvement, governance, and compliance, while optimising resource allocation and administrative operations. By leveraging strategic thinking and stakeholder management, the role drives infrastructure development and aligns with the university's strategic objectives, maintaining high standards of financial and operational excellence.What you'll bring to this roleTertiary qualification in business administration, project management, or a related field with at least four (4) years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience.Familiarity with financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes.Applicants should refer to the Position Description for further details on the work requirements, duties, skills and experience required for this role.
