Contribute to the delivery of meaningful, actionable and intelligent data analysis at Charles Darwin University (CDU) About the PositionAs a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be part of a team within the Planning and Performance Department and will be responsible for one or more of the following six focus areas of Business Intelligence Development:
Domain Data Analysis, including Exploratory AnalysisRequirement Analysis & DefinitionETL Development, Data Collection, Cleaning and ProcessingData Quality Assurance and TestingReference Data ManagementYou'll work collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure high quality data integration consistent with the BI needs of the university and contribute to the delivery of meaningful, actionable, and intelligent data analysis products.
About YouTo be successful, you will require:
A Degree qualification in computing, information systems, data science or similar with a minimum of 2 years' working experience in any combination of Business Intelligence focus areasHigh level of analytical skills, combined with the ability to communicate complex business ideas effectively to technical analysts and vice versa.An ability to understand and write SQL at a level sufficient to analyse data and quality-check outcomes.High level of written and oral communication skills especially in regard to working in a Business Intelligence setting.A demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in order to meet competing deadlines.RemunerationAppointment to this role will be at Professional level 7/8.
The base salary will be in the range of $91,642 to $116,253 per annum.
The total remuneration package will be in the range of $107,221 to $136,016 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
