Business Intelligence Analyst

Lime Recruitment is currently working with a large Queensland government department to recruit a Business Intelligence Analyst contract to 06/12/2024 based in the Brisbane CBD and working from home.
In this role you will: Work with a team of data analysts, system and policy subject matter experts to document current state processes, analyse and define business pain points and develop optimised future state business requirements documentation.
Interrogate existing business intelligence assets to determine to what extent the business requirements can be achieved, making improvements to the assets accordingly where possible.
Work with a Data Engineer and will identify and articulate any fundamental intelligence gaps that must be addressed for the requirements to be met in full, informing the Data Engineer's work.
Work closely with the Director, Business Application owners, CSB owners and LTSR leaders.
Business intelligence and business and data analysis Interrogating data hub tools, including Snowflake and Analytics tools, including Tableau Creating and refining business intelligence dashboards Business Analysis, problem definition, Plan and document the business analysis approach, stakeholder analysis, business analysis activities, business analysis communication, business intelligence approach and activities and requirements management processes.
Engage and consult with business stakeholders for analysis of business requirements, functional and technical requirements, business change impacts.
Proactively manage, prioritise and document business requirements and requirements traceability.
