Overview Gallagher Bassett is Australia's largest Third Party Administrator (TPA). Our focus is refreshingly simple: we manage insurance claims on behalf of insurers, brokers, government bodies and self-insured corporations. Gallagher Bassett (GB) has six offices in Australia located in Northern Territory, Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, employing over 1000 staff. In the role of the Business Development Manager, you will focus on developing new partnerships with insurers and brokers. Due to some exciting growth, we are offering an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will play a pivotal role in developing new business partnerships within the NSW personal injury sector, and provide you with a great opportunity to workwork for an organisation where decisions can be made quickly and locally, supported by an Executive team with focus on growth. How you'll make an impact Generate new and profitable business relationships utilising your existing network;Maintain a pipeline of solid new business leads and managing them through to conversion;Develop your personal brand and credibility within the personal injury sector;Provide comprehensive guidance to clients who have complex requirements, including risk transfer and risk mitigation options;Negotiate with clients and stakeholders across all organisational levels (e.g. Senior Executives and Directors). About you Business development and relationship management experience gained within the insurance underwriter or broker markets;Demonstrated ability to develop strong relationships and create new partnerships;A sound understanding of claims management principles and related regulatory requirements;That you are well connected with sufficient networks and will identify synergies between your current client base and GB's service offering;An innate understanding and passion for sales and the sales process;A background in the management of multiple large, complex opportunities through a pipeline and ability to convert these opportunities;Acute commercial and business acumen skills;Experience using Salesforce.Gallagher Bassett is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Indigenous Australian applicants are encouraged to apply.
