Products are sold direct in 18 countries worldwide and through distributors in over 60 others and are supported by field service, clinical education, marketing development organizations and distributorship arrangements.Overview:As the Business Development Manager NSW, your principal duties and responsibilities will be to sell devices within your assigned market segment/territory.
This involves following the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to signed order and installation in the client premises.General Responsibilities:Market Segment/territory planning to optimise sales productivity and coverage and minimise travel time.Making appointments with key decision-makers in the medical market.Following the entire end-to-end sales process with qualified prospects.Face-to-face planned appointments.
It is expected that you will see a minimum of 12 planned appointments per week with pre-qualified prospects.Update SalesForce (online Customer Record Management System) following every meeting or meaningful telephone conversation to keep a record of key information.After receiving a signature to proceed from the client, follow the company protocol for ordering the device(s) and attend site to install it and brief the customer.Attend fortnightly sales meetings and other team meetings, briefings and events as requested.Liaise with marketing personnel to ensure that new devices are adequately promoted within the practices where you have sold them.Organise the client's initial training and assist the client where necessary to upskill their practitioners.Attend trade shows, industry events and Candela sponsored activities.Act as an ambassador for the company within the industry.Knowledge/Educational RequirementsBachelor Degree in related discipline.At least 5 years in sales with prior experience in the medical industry.Highly result-oriented with strong business acumen.Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.Knowledge and experience utilizing Salesforce CRM and Microsoft office programs.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionBusiness DevelopmentIndustriesMedical Equipment Manufacturing
