Business Development Manager We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with a proven track record of success in BD to join our Interleasing business and source new Leasing (cars) agreements and asset management clients (fleets of cars and some heavy machinery).
We are looking for a BDM who can build on already identified leads from the previous BD Manager and keep momentum with existing pipelines.
You will also be able to identify new opportunities, comfortably present to CFOs, Heads of Procurement and/or Heads of Finance to acquire and activate new business both within and outside a tender environment.
Our head office is in Chatswood where you will spend your time strategic planning with your peers on Wednesday and Thursdays. Monday, Tuesday and Fridays you will be working from home or meeting with clients in Sydney Metro and Newcastle from time to time.
Key responsibilities: Build on the previous employee's years of BD to keep obtaining new business Develop strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed new business targets Capture, track and report on all sales activity including lead generation and pipeline activity Be involved in industry forums and events to assist in developing business relationships leading to new prospects Cross-sell our novated leasing products and services Manage the production of all sales proposals and quotes With your peers work on large tenders You will bring: Experience in business to business (B2B) sales A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in B2B Results orientated Strategic relationship building focus Sound commercial acumen Confidence meeting and providing solutions for senior executives Highly developed influencing and negotiation skills Ability to cope with competing demands and successfully prioritise outcomes About Interleasing: A subsidiary of the ASX-listed McMillan Shakespeare Limited, Interleasing helps companies across a range of sectors in Australia and New Zealand maximise the value and expenditure of their assets (vehicles and heavy machinery).
