Business Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. This is a full-time role that will play a crucial part in driving new business growth in VIC/SA/TAS.
What you'll be doing Prospecting to identify new sales leads and business opportunities Developing and delivering compelling sales presentations and proposals Managing a sales pipeline and meeting sales targets Participating in trade shows, end user events, and customer meetings to promote products Actively pursuing new business opportunities at the channel and end user level Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information and project pipeline in Salesforce Effectively managing current reseller and end user relationships Assisting in resolving customer issues regarding sales and service Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience Providing regular reporting on sales activities and performance What we're looking for Minimum 5 years' experience in a business development or high-tech sales role, preferably in the AV or Unified Communications industry. Technical understanding of AV products and especially AV merging with IP – advantageous Proven track record of successfully identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and sales tools #J-18808-Ljbffr
