Working closely with support teams based in Perth, you'll play a crucial part in establishing Primero's market presence in the region.A strong understanding of Queensland's mining sector, particularly in coal and critical minerals, along with the ability to leverage industry contacts, is vital for success. This permanent position, based in our Brisbane office, is ideal for individuals with a proven business development track record who can work autonomously. A self-starter with a "Can Do" attitude is essential.Your Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop a Queensland Business Development Plan, with a focus on identifying project opportunities and customer acquisition initiatives – across agreed market sectors and service/capability offering.Participate in internal meetings on tendering and pipeline updates.Leverage industry networks to identify new project opportunities.Work closely with Perth support teams to successfully tender client project opportunities.Manage client relationships.Work with the communications team to develop marketing collateral and branding materials required for Queensland.Represent Primero at agreed industry events, conferences, and functions.Prepare weekly business development activity reports.Administer the CRM and maintain records of prospective projects, customer, and competitor information.What you 'Can do'Tertiary qualifications in engineering or business, or related discipline.A strong understanding of the Queensland mining sector, principally coal and critical minerals.A strong network of contacts in target sectors.A strong understanding of key competitors.A broad understanding of Primero's service/capability offering (site infrastructure, processing, and maintenance).Ability to sell Primero's value proposition, execution approach, and commercial position to customers.Responsive to customers with consistent follow-up and follow-through.Self-directed, requires limited daily supervision or guidance.Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability in making presentations to customers and internal management.Competent in MS Office.Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own time and prioritise a demanding workload.What we 'Can Do' for you:Competitive CompensationHealth and Wellbeing SupportBenefits & DiscountsEmployee Referral RewardsIf you're looking for a career where you experience more 'Can Do', then we're the team for you.APPLY NOWIf you believe you have what it takes and want to work for a company who puts its people first, please apply now.Primero is an Equal Opportunity Employer and strongly encourages female and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.Follow us on LinkedIn for news, updates, and career opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
