The Role:
As the Business Development Manager for fibre cement cladding, you will play a key role in driving sales growth, building lasting relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning our products as the solution of choice for builders, contractors, and architects. You will leverage your expertise in the construction and building materials sector to identify new business opportunities, manage existing client accounts, and lead strategic initiatives to grow our market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Sales: Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities in the fibre cement cladding market. Cultivate relationships with builders, contractors, architects, and distributors to drive long-term partnerships. Client Relationship Management: Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and continued business growth. Conduct regular check-ins and follow-ups to maintain strong client relationships. Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive offerings, and regulatory changes. Use insights to develop targeted sales strategies and product offerings that address the needs of the market. Product Knowledge & Presentations: Provide technical expertise on fibre cement cladding products, including their benefits, applications, and installation processes. Deliver compelling product presentations to key stakeholders. Sales Strategy & Reporting: Develop and implement sales strategies that align with the company's goals. Track and report on sales performance, forecasts, and market developments to senior management. Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role is essential. Knowledge of the construction, building materials, or cladding industry is not essential but will be highly beneficial. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple accounts. A highly motivated, self-starter with a focus on results and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
