About the Role: As a Business Analyst with AGL's Trading Technology and Delivery team, you will play a key role in interfacing with the Trading and Analytical teams, as well as Wholesale Risk and Finance. You will facilitate change across the Trading and Analytical business units, with a primary focus of trading systems build and run, including:
Contributing to the technology strategy and vision, facilitating continuous improvement of over 20 specialist IT systemsAct as an agent of change as AGL transitions our power generation portfolio and capitalising on the significant investment in the trading systems over the last 3 yearsDriving technology outcomes by partnering across the technology and business functionsWhat you'll be doing: Gathering, validating and documenting business requirementsModelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvementsIdentifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outlining business impactsEstimating costs and identifying business savingsSimplifying business requirements for the delivery teamAssist the delivery team with the coordination of planning ceremoniesSupport testing resources with the testing of solutionsSupport the business transition and help embed changes back into processesAbout You: You will ideally have exposure to energy trading, trading analytics, trading risk and trading finance, but most importantly you will be inquisitive and have experience with delivering complex end-to-end initiatives in an agile environment. Your stakeholder management, conflict management and collaboration skills will set you up for success.
