We service a truly diverse community and play an important role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.What you'll do:As the Building Services Discipline Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the production of building services designs, logistics engineering, and systems engineering for the New Terminal. You will ensure that project timelines are met and that all designs adhere to Perth Airport's design and technical requirements. Additionally, you will review relevant design documentation and support the New Terminal Design Lead in managing the New Terminal Lead Design Consultant to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery. Your role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of projects. You will also engage with stakeholders, manage risks, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and experience in large-scale infrastructure projects are essential.About you:Hold a Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic engineering, or related field.A minimum 7 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.Proficient in the design and engineering of mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and other building services systems.Strong project management and organizational skills.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Experience with airport systems is a plus.Ability to manage and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.Proficient in project information systems, especially Aconex and SharePoint.Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams.Understanding of technical issues and cost relations to design features.Proficient in Autodesk design suite (Revit and AutoCAD) and model viewing software (Autodesk Navisworks).Excellent organizational and teamworking skills.The successful candidate will have extensive experience in building services engineering, with a proven track record in delivering complex projects.
