Our company culture is inclusive and proactive, and we strive to be the employer of choice.Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesWe have positions available for a Building Manager at various sites in Melbourne. The role we currently have available involves managing the daily tasks required of the role including but not limited to:Full time Monday to Friday - Building ManagerOn call for emergencies 24/7Liaising with committees and residents' requests on a daily basisWorking closely with our Owners Corporation team members who also manage the siteImplementing and managing the scheduled maintenance programFacilitating requirements for building compliance checks and certificationPeriodic inspections of common areas, facilities, plant, and equipmentReport writing and populating management software with activities undertakenManaging service providers against contract service expectationsProviding recommendations to the committee regarding ongoing maintenance of the complexProviding input around building upgrade works and projectsForging positive relationships with team members, clients, owners, strata managers, and contractorsOverseeing all contractors undertaking works at the complexOverseeing residents moving in and out of the siteActively encouraging opportunities to bring together residents to create a communitySkills and ExperienceThe successful applicant will possess the following skills:Motivated and proactiveStrong computer and administrative skillsAn understanding or willingness to learn the technical aspects of building managementAble to seek better ways to do things and thrive in a challenging environmentProven ability to manage providers to ensure optimum outcomesAbility to work autonomouslyAbility to work as part of a teamEvidence of positive contributions to sites previously managedJob Benefits and PerksApplicants will also be provided with:All equipment required to undertake their roleAttendance to internal Building Management training and discussionsOpportunities to attend external Building Management training eventsSupport from our internal Building Management teamSupport if further qualifications relevant to the position are undertakenIf you think this position is the right fit for you, we look forward to hearing from you.
