Introduction Your mission as a Brand Sales Specialist is to create demand and progress opportunities to close for your assigned platform, by leading high-level, platform-level strategic conversations and building trusted relationships where technology is seen as a way to advance your clients' business goals. You partner with your clients and colleagues to co-create platform/brand-specific solutions that address their business needs and drive client innovation.

You will be working with the webMethods/StreamSets brand and be part of IBM's fast-growing team in Australia and New Zealand, aiming to become the leader of the Hybrid iPaaS solution in this region.

Your Role And Responsibilities Role Focus You are accountable for:

Account Planning & Stakeholder Management Supporting territory strategy and contributing to the account planning process for assigned accounts. Maintaining strong relationships with IBM Brand Technical Specialists to align sales efforts with offering capability roadmaps. Partnering with IBM Technology Expert Labs to ensure clients have the service skills needed for successful product deployments. Sales Execution Applying expert-level knowledge of select offerings with industry expertise to propose relevant and impactful use cases that address the client's business needs and drive innovation. Owning the end-to-end sales process for the assigned offering portfolio and clients—from opportunity identification to deal closure. Managing for Growth Elevating strategic conversations at the platform level, integrating our product portfolio to align with business objectives. Preferred Education Master's Degree.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise Understanding of relevant platform/brand products, with skills in product demonstrations, storytelling, and whiteboarding. Knowledge of integration solutions (API, MFT, B2B, event processing, application integration) is a plus. Understanding of the ecosystem and partner footprint within your territory. Strong knowledge of pricing/subscription models and how to create financial and contractual proposals. Ability to engage other IBM teams and subject matter experts early in the sales process to accelerate deal progression, customize client experiences, and grow software consumption.
