Due to an imminent transfer, this opening will suit a broadly talented, manufacturing and sales-oriented professional who enjoys achieving sustainable growth and delivery outcomes through effective, hands-on leadership.
Location: Yatala.
Reporting to the General Manager (in Sydney) and as a member of the Holyoake branch leadership team, you will be responsible for improving manufacturing capability and capacity, also growing a consistent revenue base including new product introduction opportunities.
Safety vigilance is a primary organisational value and expectation in this role.
Responsibilities include managing a full P&L/Balance Sheet and annual branch strategic planning e.g.
sales budget, design, engineering & Lean/CI programs, cost/margin improvements, CAPEX and investment in HR; as well as relationships with channel partners and 3rd party suppliers.
Your well-honed communication and negotiation skills enable you to achieve buy-in internally and externally.
Ideally you possess a track record of progression in manufacturing/operations and/or in sales/business development within an industrial sector/s; HVAC is well-regarded but not essential.
Demonstrated expertise with budgeting, forecasting, pricing and ROI reporting are required.
Practical knowledge of managing product life cycles underpins much of the sales effort.
A trades or tertiary qualification in engineering, coupled with study in commerce/business management are expected.
