Bottle Shop Manager | The Wattle Hotel Liquor Stax Redcape Hotel Group is seeking a passionate & caring customer-centric individual to join our Leadership Team at The Wattle Hotel as our Bottle Shop / Retail Manager.
You would lead your collective Team to successfully operate the Bottle Shop in a role that combines both FOH & BOH duties.

Required Traits, Qualifications & Attributes
Experience in the same or similar role is a mandatory requirement.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills.
A genuine focus and appreciation for quality service and customer experience.
A sincere and deliberate focus on building rapport with guests.
A genuine passion and care for the hospitality industry & the people that work within it.
An enthusiastic, positive, and outgoing attitude.
High level of listening skills coupled with the ability to take direction well.
High standard of physical fitness & manual handling as it can be a physically demanding role.
Full or flexible availability to fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends, and public holidays in conjunction with the Bottle Shop's operating hours.
Experience in hospitality senior leadership positions is preferred but not mandatory.
Proven track record with leading teams.
Focused on driving performance.
Accountable and responsible.
Understands business strategies.
High standard of cash handling skills.
A current/valid RSA certification.
Forklift License (preferred but not mandatory).
Computer skills that translate to communicative requirements and effective stock management.
Duties and Responsibilities
The purpose of this role is to work cohesively as a member of the Venue Leadership Team, where you would take charge of general Bottle Shop operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives, and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
Leading the Bottle Shop Team, as we strive to offer outstanding customer experiences.
Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.
Creating and nurturing a positive work environment so that all team members can thrive.
Driving financial performance through the enhancement of staff & customer experience.
