ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting directly to one of our Tax & Accounting Directors, you will: Coordinate team workflow and communicate with Directors on work progress and routine tasks. Coordinate technical training for the team (with support from the People & Culture team). Perform bookkeeping functions efficiently by embracing built-in features in online software. Preparation of creditor payments. Reconciliation of accounts to Trial Balance. Preparation of all BAS related compliance reports for lodgement with ATO. Preparation of team payroll and payroll tax reporting for lodgement. Preparation of management reports. ABOUT YOU To be considered for this opportunity, you will have at least 5 years of experience as a Senior Bookkeeper within Public Practice in Australia. Your experiences, knowledge, and qualifications should include:
A reputation for being an effective Bookkeeper. Ideally have proven ability to lead a small team. Previous experience in dealing directly with clients. Certificate IV in Financial Services (Bookkeeping). Strong knowledge of MYOB AR and MYOB Business including data entry and payroll functions. Experience with third-party applications integrated with cloud accounting software packages. A passion for coaching junior accountants and an ongoing commitment to your own development and growth. Ability to multi-task and manage a high workload. A passion for software and seeking opportunities for efficiencies. You will enjoy working within a diverse team, at a fast pace across various industries and sectors.
