The Company...
With three Sydney clinic locations, the company is one of Sydney's longest-serving pain management clinics.
The clinic's team of multidisciplinary health professionals provide comprehensive medical care to their patients in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Each patient is provided an individualised treatment plan that aims to return the patient to a functional lifestyle, to reduce their perceived pain and to ensure appropriate usage of medication where required.
The company is now seeking to employ an experienced Bookkeeper to assist with payroll, bookkeeping and administrative duties.
The Position...
The position is a varied role incorporating all aspects of Bookkeeping and Accounts administration.
The role is part-time, requiring you to work 2-3 days per week (with Thursdays and Fridays the mandatory days) in either the Wahroonga or Parramatta clinic.
The tasks to be performed include (but are not limited to):
Assisting with fortnightly employee payroll Preparing monthly contractors' pay Handling all payroll administration, including onboarding, updating & exit processes Daily reconciliation of bank accounts and accounts receivable receipting Coordinating accounts payables and ensuring they have been paid on time Producing invoices using Xero Debtor collections using Xero and Genie Closing of month end reconciliations, which also includes banking of cash and cheques Assisting company accountant with the preparation of quarterly BAS and annual tax lodgements Registering and updating clinical providers with Health funds Updating clinical billing items and other administrative tasks on Genie Assisting management with ad-hoc duties
The Ideal Candidate...
The ideal candidate will have the following:
A minimum of 3 years of proven bookkeeping experience.
Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Prioritisation and organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines, maintain scheduled tasks, and respond to requests promptly.
Computing Skills - Microsoft Office (particularly excel), Outlook, accounting package: Xero.
Have the initiative to problem solve and a positive attitude.
