THE ROLE
As our Bookkeeper, you will manage the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. Your key responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate financial records and transactions Processing accounts payable and receivable Preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations Assisting with payroll processing and BAS reporting Managing the general ledger and preparing trial balances Assisting with year-end audits Collaborating with finance and operations teams for accurate financial reporting THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar) Strong attention to detail and accuracy Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS THAT YOU have experience in Bookkeeping, Accounts Receivable/Payable clerk, or Accountant roles. Here's what else we're looking for:
A team player with a positive attitude and a proactive approach. Ability to adapt to varying tasks and manage your time effectively. Ideally, you can commute to the Sunshine Coast office 5 days a week. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, MYOB, XERO and SAP is a plus (but not required).
