We are enriching the communities in which we live and operate, and we do so safely and sustainably.We are looking for a skilled and experienced BoilerMaker Welder to join the Operations team.This role is on a 15:13 roster with opportunity to FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Gascoyne Region.Your rolePerforming all plant maintenance tasks in a safe, timely and high-quality manner, minimising the need for rework.Welding, fabrication, gouging, grinding, and fitting.Carry out installation of new equipment or modifications to existing equipment.Assisting in the proactive identification of repair and maintenance works to ensure achievement of maintenance goals to maximize plant and equipment availability.Ensuring that all activities are effective through cross-functional liaison and teamwork in accordance with the professional standards established by the Maintenance team.Ensuring compliance to work order attachments and documents such as JHA's, SWI's, etc. This includes the updating of any of these documents to ensure they are kept relevant and reflect best practices.Ensuring all completed work orders are closed out with accurate time confirmations.Assist with shutdown co-ordination and execution, including supervising small teams of tradespeople during scheduled shutdowns and outages.Being a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.Demonstrating a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers.Being accurate, methodical, practical and safety-conscious when installing and maintaining mechanical equipment.Assisting new employees in proper work procedures and practices.Ensure that you always conduct yourself with the utmost respect for the company and all fellow employees.All employees involved in the management and operation of TSF's are responsible for ensuring that the water recovery system is operated at its maximum capacity and in good working order, that seepage is minimized and that any faults with the water recovery system are reported to the Processing Manager / Superintendent in a timely manner.Other ad hoc duties as required.About youCurrent Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Boilermaker/Welder/Fabricator).A current and valid manual Australian Driver's licence.Confined space, Working at heights, EWP, (LF) Forklift, Crane and Basic rigging Tickets (advantageous).MR Truck licence (advantageous).Minimum 3 years of experience in a maintenance role within a mineral processing plant or similar mining industries.Exposure to CMMS (Pronto preferred).Experience working with and demonstrated compliance with work area permit systems.Strong communication skills & excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team in remote areas.Ability to perform under pressure and have an excellent level of fabrication competence, diagnostic and reporting skills.Our commitment to youDynamic, responsive and with a can-do attitude - we find ways to make things happen together.
