Reporting to the Mount Isa Maintenance Team Leader, this position provides a maintenance service to the Mt Isa Operations to ensure the ongoing reliability of the plant.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Providing a responsive service to meet unplanned maintenance requests and scheduled maintenance plans as per weekly SAP work order process.Carrying out maintenance tasks within budget and in compliance with Site Engineering and Maintenance Standards.Working as part of a team to follow processes and procedures relating to maintenance tasks, safety, quality and environment with a 'do it once, do it right' mindset.Working closely with the operations team to achieve plant reliability and production targets.Providing input into improvements for reliability maintenance strategies and working closely with reliability engineers.What you'll bringYou've worked within heavy industrial environments as a boilermaker and have exceptional welding skills, along with the qualifications which will enable you to carry out the specialist welding we have onsite.You'll also have:Minimum 4 years experience of MMA, MIG, TIG Welding experience in mining/chemical manufacturing industry.SAP Experience.Strong safety Focus.Perform work to high quality.Performing weld repairs in the plant under hot conditions on steam lines, vessels and tanks.Pressure welding experience.Ability to scope and fabricate pipe spools, handrails, kickrails, flooring gridmesh.Exceptional diagnostic and problem solving skills.The ability to manage own time and schedule as well as the initiative to problem solve under pressure.Qualifications RequirementsCert III in Metal Fabrication Trade Qualification.EWP Ticket.The ability to pass weld test coupons for carbon steels, stainless steel and SAF in the 6G position prior to awarding of contract.Ability to obtain Certification No. 7 in Welding within 12 months.HR License.Bridge and Gantry Crane (CB) License.Basic Rigging License.C2 and/or C6 crane ticket.Benefits to youWe are a team focused on safety, inclusion and high performance.18 weeks paid parental leave for primary carer, 3 weeks for secondary carer.Superannuation paid on unpaid parental leave, up to 12 months.Salary packaging options.Confidential employee assistance program.Mental Health and Well-being program.Options to purchase annual leave.Opportunities for career progression through succession planning and development reviews.Salary Sacrificing Options including car lease options, FIFO airport parking.The SiteNorthern Australian Operations consists of an Ammonium Phosphate Mine and Processing Plant (Phosphate Hill) and Sulphuric Plant (Mt Isa) in North Queensland.
