Convenience Buttons: Time Remaining 21 days Boarding Supervisor Branch: Geraldton Residential College Division: Mid West Education Region Salary: $65,172 - $70,256 per annum (pro-rata) + 25% loading over 46 weeks (DOE (RCS) CSA 2021) Work Type: Permanent - Part Time FTE: 0.72 Location: Geraldton Closing Date: 2024-11-26 4:30 PM This is a permanent part-time (0.72 FTE) position commencing February 2025.

The Role This job opportunity is unique if you are a caring, dedicated and enthusiastic person who has a genuine desire to assist young people complete their education while living away from home and family.
Boarding supervisors help students develop into well-rounded and responsible members of the Residential College community.
They support them with their personal development and school learning and help students become involved in college life by organising a range of recreational activities and excursions.
The successful applicant will supervise students, providing appropriate care to support their wellbeing and fulfill duty of care responsibilities in line with relevant legislation and Department requirements.
You will also attend college functions and promotional activities as required by the College manager, including award presentations, special events, orientation and open days, regional field days, and agricultural shows.

Demonstrated capacity to initiate, plan, document and safely lead a wide range of leisure activities for secondary students.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write plans, pastoral notes and reports; and interact positively with students and parents including those with diverse multicultural backgrounds.
Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
Demonstrated capacity to successfully meet and maintain the required eligibility and training requirements of this position.
