Where you will be working Lactalis Harvey Fresh in Western Australia is nestled amongst the fields of the beautiful South West Region of Harvey. This farming-rich region is well known for producing premium fruit and first-grade milk.
About this Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our Blow Mould team at our Harvey operation.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your duties will include:
The operation, adjustment and cleaning of blow mould and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, operational and safety standards. Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements. Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time, and chemicals and report excessive wastage to the Coordinator. Assist in maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, Cleaning in Practice (CIP) testing and recording. We require a team-oriented and skilled operator who is self-motivated and able to work varying types of shift work and overtime as required.
Essential Requirements Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn Good attention to detail Experience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regarded High level of attention to detail, good at fault finding/trouble shooting skills Strong focus on quality and hygiene Understanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles - Desirable Excellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skills Ability to follow procedures and undertake quality checks Strong focus towards health and safety Experience performing labour-intensive and repetitive tasks To Apply If you are confident that you have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role, please submit your application, including your current resume by selecting 'Apply' and follow the prompts.
