About This Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our Blow Mould team at our South Brisbane Factory.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your duties will include:
The operation, adjustment and cleaning of blow mould and associated production equipment to comply with Lactalis specifications, operational and safety standards.Ensure bottle stock is rotated and stock levels are adequate to cover production requirements.Minimise wastage including product, packaging, process inputs, time and chemicals and to report excessive wastage to the Coordinator.Assist in maintaining regulatory, company and quality systems through the completion of operating logs, downtime recording, Cleaning in Practice (CIP) testing and recording.We require a team-oriented and skilled operator who is self-motivated and able to work varying types of shift work and overtime as required.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learnExperience in a dairy food manufacturing environment will be highly regardedHigh level of attention to detail, good fault finding/trouble shooting skillsStrong focus on quality and hygieneUnderstanding of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles - DesirableExcellent communication skills including good numeracy and literacy skillsAbility to follow procedures and undertake quality checksStrong focus towards health and safetyExperience performing labour-intensive and repetitive tasksTo Apply If you are confident that you have the ambition, drive and competency to succeed in this role, please submit your application, including your current resume by selecting 'Apply' and follow the prompts.
