Job DetailsGordon Brothers has joined the JCI family and as we continue to innovate and grow, we are looking for aBusiness Development Manager focusing on Industrial Refrigeration Aftermarket to join our team.
We are open for this role to be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or PerthThis role will focus on hunting new Aftermarket opportunities across all verticals in Australia to achieve a designated sales target and developprofitable business with new and existing customers.
We are looking for someone who understands the importance ofnetworking, knowing the industry and combining this with a strong sales strategy.
We will support you with strong systems, tools, resources and flexibility to make this role your own.??The role involves:Maintaining constant field intelligence and feedback pertinent information on competitors' activities, products, prices, business performance and develop the necessary business strategies to ensure the IR business unit excels.Ownership of sales planning, sales strategy and sales activity for dedicated area consistent with Sales Management Disciplines and consistent with overall business objectives.
Drives development and implementation of aforesaid sales plan.Represents GBI at all relevant industry events and functions – regular contact with industry Consultants.You will work in close conjunction with the GBI project sales team to maximize opportunities for service, spares and maintenance on new projects You will work in close conjunction with the GBI project sales team to maximize opportunities for service, spares and maintenance within existing customer baseProvides key support to the GBI Team, regarding the IR & HP industry and growth opportunities.Develop short- and long-range sales plans and prepare sales strategies and submissions to reach nominatedtargets.Deliver assigned business plan in terms of secured sales volume ($) and gross margin ($).Manage all elements of SFDC, legal review and bid management during the sales process, to meet DOA andapproval compliance.Provide information to management regarding the IR industry and recommend plans to maximise future businessin line with the IR growth strategy.?What we are looking for:Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Sales or related area desirable but not essential.3+ years appropriate sales experience.Industrial Refrigerationexperience within service and maintenance desirable.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.Excellent Leadership skills, strategic thinker, demonstrated accountability.Excellent negotiating skills, able to achieve the win – win solution.Excellent influencer at all organisational levels, including the ability to develop credibility and trust quickly withsenior managers/decision makersExcellent networking skillsWhy Johnson Controls?If you interested in this role, please click the apply button.
