Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Barista and Day Manager to join our team at Quest Burleigh Cafe on James St, Burleigh Heads. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the happiness and effectiveness of our cafe team, maintaining high quality standards across cafe operations, and growing our recurring customer base.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the cafe team to ensure exceptional customer service and high-quality food and drink offerings.Maintain and enforce high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and quality control across all cafe operations.Develop and implement strategies to increase customer loyalty and retention.Manage cafe operations, including ordering, inventory management, and staff scheduling.Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.Requirements1+ years of experience as a day or cafe manager in a similar environment.2+ years of experience as a barista with a strong understanding of coffee preparation and presentation.Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.A strong understanding of health and safety protocols and procedures.Preferred QualificationsCertification in Hospitality or a related field.Baking or food handling experience.IT or programming experience.Marketing, photography, or writing experience.What We OfferA competitive hourly rate of $32.00 to $35.00, plus super, bonuses, and penalty rates.A supportive and collaborative work environment with a great team of professionals.A beautiful working location in the heart of Burleigh Heads.To apply, please submit your CV and a short cover letter using the form below.
