Bar Manager

Hotel Marvell is the newest and hottest boutique hotel located in the middle of Byron Bay. Consisting of 24 luxury 1 & 2 bedroom suites, a rooftop bar, swimming pool and fine dining restaurant.
We are looking to hire a full-time bar manager for our rooftop cocktail bar. Must have strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to deliver high-volume cocktails with a strong attention to detail, as well as the ability to manage their team effectively. The highest level of customer service is required to all guests. Looking for someone who can provide a relaxed, upscale atmosphere for the bar and assist in creating its own brand identity.
Some key requirements are:
Training and managing a team of bartenders Creating schedules and checklists for staff Tending to the overall organization of the rooftop bar Friendly guest interaction that elevates overall experience Hitting key sales targets week to week Prior experience managing high-level cocktail bars Strong level of product knowledge Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills Strict adherence to local and state regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance A current NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate and full Australian working rights We are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible, so please only apply if you are able to start immediately and no sponsorships will be accepted for this role.
