As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our events by providing professional and attentive service to our guests throughout their banquet experience.Responsibilities:Set-Up and Preparation: Assist in the set-up and preparation of banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings according to event specifications.Service Execution: Serve food and beverages to guests during events, following established service standards and presentation guidelines. Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of orders.Customer Interaction: Interact with guests in a courteous and professional manner, attending to their needs and inquiries throughout the event. Anticipate guest preferences and provide personalized service when possible.Table Maintenance: Monitor tables during events, clearing used dishes, refilling beverages, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the banquet area.Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction.Adherence to Policies: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times, including food safety and alcohol service guidelines.Problem Resolution: Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and escalate to management as needed to ensure timely resolution.Breakdown and Clean-Up: Assist in the breakdown and clean-up of banquet rooms after events, including clearing tables, packing up equipment, and returning items to storage areas.Requirements:Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role preferred but not required.Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure.Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry trays, tables, and other event equipment as needed.Food safety certification and alcohol service training (e.g., TIPS) are desirable but not mandatory.
