The Opportunity
Reporting to Group Accounts Manager, you will provide support to Aveo accounts by ensuring all reconciliations are complete and the closing amount on the last bank statement matches their bank statement for the last day of the month. You will also ensure that all items have been reconciled with no outstanding items. You will be committed to delivering quality outcomes while supporting the wider Finance team to reach their goals and commitments.

You Will

Reconcile the Cash Books for Aveo entities
Oversee EFT payments for regular creditors and action any prompt payments required
Produce a list of outstanding cheques for Treasury
Code all deposits and direct debits processed from bank statements for Aveo and Retirements
Assist with data entry and finalisation of corporate payments
Assist with management of documentation and records for all Bank Guarantees/Insurance Bonds
Liaise with the bank regarding forms when any new accounts are required or signatories are to be added/deleted
Prepare and issue regular and ad-hoc invoices
Handle any ad-hoc requests such as direct debit setup and payments
Assist with any payments for the day, either upload or enter into ANZ

What You'll Bring

Minimum of 4 years' experience with bank reconciliations
Knowledge of accounts receivable and payable
Knowledge of general ledger reconciliations
Familiarity with Australian banking payment methods (EFT-BPAY-DD)
Property industry experience (desired)
Ability to provide high quality, timely processing of invoices and bank receipts
Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel applications
High attention to detail - accurately receipting to various ledgers with minimal errors
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
