Your responsibilities will include: As part of the Lockheed Martin Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Section (MRO) you will provide hands on repair, certification and maintenance on the vehicles and equipment that form a key part of the NZDF operational Vehicle Fleet, including LAV, Mercedes and MAN trucks. You will need to have a passion for the trade as you may be required to mentor automotive apprentices.
About you:
To be successful in this role the skills and abilities required include (but are not limited to) the following:
Experienced Diesel Mechanic
Trade qualified in Heavy Diesel
Full class 1 and 2 (Class 5 desirable)
A good team player who can communicates and help at all levels
Ability to meet and maintain a NZ Confidential Security Clearance
Special Requirements:
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance. See criteria at
You will also be required to undergo pre-employment activities including drug screening and vetting by NZ Police.
