Automotive Mechanic/ Inspector

As a part of our facility in Laverton North, join us as an Automotive Inspector inspecting newly purchased/sourced vehicles for defects and liaising with our sourcing team.Responsibilities include:Inspect newly acquired used cars at the facility for mechanical/other integrity. Sometimes this might require travelling to our partner locations.Inspect customer trade-in vehicles.Compare condition vs our company reconditioning standards and identify actions required.Perform safety checks and test drives.Identify required item repairs and cosmetic defects.Diagnose and fault find any issues with vehicles.Carry out required repairs to vehicles.Quality control and final inspection pre-delivery.Minimum Requirements:A current valid driver's licence and ability to drive both automatics and manuals.Mechanical knowledge and experience required.Time management skills.Previous vehicle inspection experience required.Clear verbal and written communication skills.A basic understanding of Excel/G-sheets, familiarity with iPhones/iPads.Self-motivated attitude, able to understand a job and work autonomously.A personal mindset that anything is possible with the right support.Excellent ability to collaborate between teams.Note: All roles at Cars24 are subject to a police check.Employee Benefits:Great employee benefits.Salary + Super.Free Employee Assistance Program.Monthly phone allowance + more.Amazing people & network.
