You will be part of the mechanical engineering team and join talented automotive engineers for a 12-week automotive engineering internship to assist with the design and execution of various automotive parts.
Automotive Engineering Internship Roles and Responsibilities:Design and product development of a variety of products, including creating technical specifications, release drawings, and carrying out research & development activities3D modelling using SolidWorks and AutoCADReceiving product design and assessing viability for production. Initiating and handling production trials, and in some cases, assisting with fabrication or component designReviewing product test results, and liaising with senior engineers and specialists to carry out production smoothlyWhat you will learn during your Automotive Engineering Internship?Opportunity to work with production line design from start to finishExperience with design testing and assessment, and a chance to work with a formal design validation processEvaluating different types of manufacturing methods and carrying out virtual validation testing for various designs
